Session cookie
Set by NextAuth when you sign in, so the app knows it's you on later requests. Strictly necessary — there's no way to stay signed in without it.
View-count cookies
A small per-post cookie so refreshing a page you've already viewed doesn't inflate its view count. Expires after a day.
Local storage
Your dark/light mode preference is saved in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and never leaves your device.
Nothing else
No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are set by this app by default. [Update this if you add analytics or ad tooling later — that would need disclosure and, in many places, consent.]
