Terms & Conditions
A working starting point, not a substitute for real legal review — have a lawyer look this over (and fill in the blanks) before you rely on it.
What this is
LinkingOut is a place for first-hand accounts of why someone left a job. By posting, you're asserting that what you're sharing is your own genuine experience, not something you're fabricating or posting on someone else's behalf.
What's not allowed
- Naming or identifying private individuals in a way meant to harass, defame, or expose them to harm.
- Claims you know to be false, presented as fact.
- Sharing someone else's private information (addresses, phone numbers, non-public personal details).
- Hate speech, threats, or content that harasses a person or group.
- Spam, advertising, or posts that aren't genuine accounts of leaving a job.
Moderation
Every post is reviewed before it's public, and anyone can report already-published content for a moderator to review again. Moderators may reject, remove, or edit reason tags on any post at their discretion.
Your content, your risk
You're responsible for what you post. Anonymity here hides your name from other users — it doesn't change your legal responsibility for what you write, and it doesn't mean the platform has no record of who posted it. See the Privacy page for what's recorded and who can see it.
